Our next shop update is less than one week away and the usual preparations (and chaos) are well underway here in Mooresburg. With summer slowly fading, our palette has turned towards some more rich and deep shades while some summer brights remain, making the colour selection I am about to share a really interesting and (we think) especially beautiful one.

Adding interest to the colours we have prepared is the fact that I (Emily) have suddenly veered off into an exploration of blues! The beginnings of my blue journey began before our last shop update and since then there have been some exciting developments. Because of my blue diversion, there will also be more Eclipse colours than usual. If you are new to VIOLA - land, Eclipse colours are one of a kind and cannot be repeated. So scoop them when you can! We set about dyeing for this update with a serious sock focus. It’s been a long time since we made a sock yarn offering, so it had to be a good one! In addition to my blue explorations, there are more lovely colours than we know what to do with (although we have done a good job planning about 100 new sock colour combinations…once you start you just can’t stop!)
