Ever wondered what we get up to behind the scenes at VIOLA HQ? Mainly quite a lot of tea-sipping, being silly and yarn chatter. Come and see for yourself because we'll be opening the doors of our creaky old general store on Saturday, July 28th from 10 am to 5 pm!

For the past three years Viola has operated out of a former general store in Mooresburg, a rather tucked away locale. The building we work in still looks like a store, so it's no surprise that curious people occasionally stop in to scope the place out. Sometimes, they assume it's a store and walk straight into our living room, other times they wander around the building looking for some indication of what the place is about. We are pretty used to little taps at doors (the place has a lot of doors, so we can never be sure where people might appear) and even more used to the confused expression that appears when we say 'Yes I sell this yarn, but only online and this isn't a store...even though it technically is a store' 

After confusing passers-by for three long years, we've decided to be a proper store for a day! If you're in the area or fancy a little road trip, why not plan to visit Mooresburg on Saturday, July 28th! We're already busy dyeing yarn, planning snacks and a couple little surprises as well
