I've just finished up the last wave of photos in preparation for Thursday's update, and wanted to share immediately!
This is the first time we'll be offering sock kits on the new website, and sorting out the best way to offer an optional pattern download has proven to be...impossible actually. Being a very much NOT tech savvy person I figured there would be a relatively simple way to do this. Bummer, there isn't!
Here's how I've set up the sock kit & Favourite Sock pattern sales in the shop...
The pattern PDF will be available for purchase through our shop and will go live Thursday at the same time as the yarn and sock kits. Kits will be listed separately, without an option to include the pattern. If you wand the yarn AND pattern, please add the pattern PDF to your cart as well. Anyone who purchases a pattern will be given an option at checkout to receive a Ravelry download code so that you can safely store the pattern in your Rav library. Phew, believe it or not, that is the simplest way to sort out sock kits.
Each sock kit costs $50 CAD and contains 1 100g skein and 2 20g skeins of Viola Sock yarn (75% superwash merino / 25% nylon) ideal for knitting contrasting heels, toes and stripes! Sock Kits do not include pattern.
I think it's going to be worth the extra clicking because there are some really exciting colour combos picked out...
