moving house

We have been 'moving' ourselves into a new online home for more than a year already (slow and steady, I like to say) and finally opening the online shop will be the last big step!

I'll be adding the first skeins of yarn to our online store (linked at the top of this page, how great is that?!) on...

We're planning to keep this update small, just in case there are any hiccups when it all goes live. So far, you should be keeping an eye out for Cashmere + Silk, Merino Lace, Sock, Sock Minis and a limited quantity base 100% Superwash merino fingering weight (it's just like our beloved sock yarn, but without the nylon)...I'll get a profile for this chap up on Ravelry in the next couple of days.

Here is is, Superwash Merino 4 ply in 'Heather Haze'

This new yarn is called Superwash Merino 4 ply and will be available only in the upcoming update. Considering that it's a rarity, we have dyed it up in all Eclipse colourways. Making it extra special, I think. If you love how soft and smooth our sock yarn is, you'll be happy to know that this is the very same thing...minus the nylon that you don't really need in shawls and sweaters anyhow. 

As usual, I'll be adding more previews and information about the update as the day draws near. I had to share the big news though, am not very good at keeping secrets as it turns out 😘

I'll still be making some design and layout changes to the website over the next few months (I really do move slowly), but knowing that all things Viola are under the same roof at last feels like an accomplishment for sure!
