I almost kept this...colours for summer time!
LETTUCE - sock
In the Viola dye studio we have been looking ahead to summer - it’s almost here! Swimming in the river, long walks through the forest, wild flowers, fireflies, picnics and the many beautiful things to experience during this busy and colourful season. The colours we’ve prepared for tomorrow’s update leave winter behind and begin to embrace the warm and sun bleached colours that are beginning to appear around us. It’s a really interesting palette created from the seasonal transition that is happening outside right now; a little bit of winter colour lingers, along with the subtle suggestions of colour discovered during springtime and finally hints of the bright and sunny tones that are about to emerge. Somehow, we think it all sits really well together. Hope you enjoy, find something that tickles your fancy and have fun choosing your own colour combinations!

We couldn’t resist slipping in a couple of scrappy sock kits at the last minute. These are so much fun to knit because they offer endless possibilities for colour mixing…I just stopped typing because I was trying to count the number of ideas I have…I gave up counting. There will be two colour options available in scrappy kits, tune in tomorrow to see the other (it’s a more subtle and subdued option…both are gorgeous!)
