Take a peek at the previous blog post for all my chattering about the colourway overhaul that we've begun here at Viola. Lots of experimenting, refining and editing of colours new and old. It's going to be a long process, rather like sorting through the long-neglected mess at the back of a closet. I've wanted to do this colourway overhaul for such a long time, but one thing or another has always prevented me. Now that I've started, I'm having a blast going over everything with a fine-toothed comb! I've been all about sunbleached brights and soft, light and delicate neutrals recently. A really exciting new palette is taking shape over here, and I can't wait to share more with you. For now, here's the first wave of previews...

I've been pretty into sun bleached citrus colours. Exploring balance of yellow and blue (always a delicate one) and trying to decide whether I prefer lemon or lime...it is quite likely that I'll choose both!

I also love these faded citrus shades because they look great with just about everything. It's amazing that such powerful colours can be so versatile.
