Here I am, writing to you from a new place in the internet. Feels strange, even though I'm typing with the same keyboard and using the same computer. I've been slowly plodding away on this new website - in moments of spare time (which have been few recently). It felt like the right time to move into a new website. Both myself, and the business have just moved house physically, so why not get the virtual move in too?! I'll be slowly revealing more pages and details here as I complete them. Hope you enjoy watching this spot grow into a real, grown-up website!

I'm also pretty darn excited about the upcoming ETSY UPDATE that I've been working on. With the same naive and optimistic attitude that I have had through the entire reno and move, I believed that I would be well back into dyeing by August. Try as I might, time management is not a skill of mine - my approach is to work like a maniac until everything gets done and then start all over again.

I've touched on some of the issues that have come up in the new studio, so I won't go on about it. I've tested out millions of variables, dissected my dyeing process, changed it all and then realized that it worked better the way that it was and changed back again. Figures. I still have more experimentation ahead before I will be happy with the process here. So, I'm going to chalk it all up to experience and plod on. In the mean time, I've put together a little update. It's a small one, but it's full of some colours that I am very happy with and cannot wait to share. The first update from Mooresburg - it's pretty exciting!
I'll be sharing more previews and info very soon, but for now I can say that there will be sock kits, sock yarn and Mooresburg DK. Yay!
